She studied at the Academy of Applied Arts in Vienna (decorative design and textiles with Margarethe Rader-Soulek. The year 1985 marks the beginning of her sculptural work. From 1991 to 1996 Verhoeven was a founding member of the Vienna Kunstverein Figur, since 2000 she has been a lecturer in sculpture at the University of Applied Arts. The artist was awarded the Austrian Cross of Honor for Science and Art in 2002. Verhoeven lives and works in Vienna.PLEASE NOTE: The purchase price consists of the highest bid plus the buyer's premium, sales tax and, if applicable, the fee of artists resale rights.
