Zsolnay Secession-style Flower Stand
Porcelain ware cast in shape. Decorated with sculptural elements, monography and embossment-like scene based on the idea of laterna magica (hunting dogs pursuing a rabbit) on surface. Shiny and matte surfaces painted with coloured eosin glazes on surface, partially acid-treated. Shape and decoration design: supposedly Mihály Kapás Nagy, 1904. Surface slightly worn, etched. Marked on bottom: pressed in clay 7337 (form number) and round, embossed, stamp-like branding the same colour as the coating. Zsolnay, Pécs, 1904. H.: 19.5 cm Diameter: 21 cm
