Around the middle of the 20th century, an unknown commercial artist worked in Linz, creating a series of designs for advertisements in Linz shops using various techniques. He or she sometimes adopted pre-existing elements. The Oemer optician's shop at Mozartstraße 5 can be found in the Amtliches Linzer Adreßbuch (official Linz address book) of 1940.
