Katona Zoltán (1959 - )
A művészt a budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán Blaski János tanította. Az Eötvös Alapítvány ösztöndíját nyerte el tanulmányai alatt, majd 1994-97-ben Derkovits-ösztöndíjat is kapott. Budapesti tevékenysége során tagja a MAOE-nak, a Fiatal Művészek Stúdiójának, 1990-től a Block Csoportnak, majd 1992-től a MAMŰ-nek is. Alkotásai nagy része installáció, performansz. Képei jellenzően nonfiguratívak, szinte monokrómok. Csoportos tárlaton a Magyar Nemzeti Galériában is szerepelt, ahogy az Ernst Múzeumban, vagy a Műcsarnokban is.
