The Viennese artist Franz Reiter worked primarily in Stadlau, part of Vienna since 1904 and now in the 22nd District. He is mentioned in the 14th year (1917/8) of "Die Christliche Kunst, Monatsschrift für alle Gebiete der christlichen Kunst und Kunstwissenschaft" (The Christian Art, monthly for all areas of Christian art and aethetics). Franz Reiter was a member of the Viennese Secession.
