Diosi, (András) Andreas: Disputatio philosophica de conscientia... Publicae disquisitioni subjiciet ~
Franequerae, 1689. Apud Johannem Gyselaar. (2)+53+(1)p.
The author of the treatise was a Reformed pastor in Radnót (although in many places he is mentioned as an Evangelical superintendent). According to the diary of Mihály Apafi II, Prince of Transylvania, he married Catherine Bethlen in the Reformed church in Mezőbodon in 1694. The sources are silent about the place and time of his death, making the contemporary manuscript entry on the title page intriguing: “ obiit in Radnot in Peste 1709.” Another manuscript entry records that János Bihari gave it to his only friend, János Köpeczi. Köpeczi, a renowned physician-astronomer, was – like the author – a student at the University of Franeker. Upon his return home, he taught in Patak and then became the court physician of Prince Apafi.
Unbound.
Poss.: „Andr. Bihari dono dabat D: Joh Köpeczi Amicus singularis”.
