Byron költeményeiből való részleteit hősnőinek hártyapapírral védett, acélmetszetű portéi kísérik. A rendkívül részletgazdag női portrék általában szépen körvonalazzák az 1830-as évek biedermeier nőideálját, ám közülük jó néhány radikálisan eltér a biedermeier kor szende szűz típusától.
Díszesen aranyozott, vaknyomásos kiadói egészbőr kötésben, aranyozott lapszélekkel, az első kötéstáblán apró vágásnyommal. Dekoratív, szép példány.
