Kovachich Márton György (1744–1821) jogtörténész, könyvtáros, forráskutató. Munkájával megalapozta a magyar állam- és jogtörténeti forráskutatást. Négy vaskos kötetben, levéltári kutatások alapján a középkori Magyarország ismeretlen, vagy elfeledett törvényeit gyűjtötte össze.
Poss.: Beszédes József tulajdonosi névbejegyzésével.
A négy kötet egységes, korabeli, díszesen aranyozott gerincű félbőr-kötésben, szép állapotban.
