Map of North America published in "L'Atlas Francois" by Alexis Huber Jaillot in 1719. Based on Nicolas Sanson's map and revised by explorations of (René-Robert Cavelier, Sieur de) La Salle. In contrast to the previous editions, California is shown as a peninsula, and the East Coast is also updated. Dimensions: 460 x 640 (535 x 745) mm. Original outline colour. With two small stains in the map field and slight discolouration along the centrefold.
