The Lorraine-born author worked at the Polish embassy in Istanbul in the 17th century. This work – a comparative Turkish grammar – was one of the results of his job there, first published in 1680. This – second – edition was published under the supervision of the Hungarian Ferenc Ádám Kollár.
Later half cloth. Title page and last leaf slightly damaged, some leaves restored.
Poss.: According to the Latin inscription on the last page, Antal Sándor from Slavnica gave it to his acquaintance, János (the family name was removed) in 1790.
