Zsolnay Bowl with Base
White ceramic. Above coating on surface, plant decoration painted with translucent, covering, coloured and metallescent eosins. Design and painting by Teréz Mattyasovszky. Marked on bottom: pressed in clay 4838? (form number) and hand-written “Mattyasovszky Terike 1898” in eosin glaze. 12 24 The piece was created as a Christmas gift for Vilmos Zsolnay.
