Máig a legteljesebb munka, amely a magyarországi lovakkal foglalkozik. Nélkülözhetetlen kézikönyv lótulajdonosoknak és a lovakat szeretőknek. A táblákon a megnevezett paripák fametszetű rajzaival. A porosz-svéd gróf három évig járta az országot, hogy a legtöbb információt gyűjtse be könyvéhez.
A négy kötet egységes, dúsan aranyozott gerincű félbőr-kötésben, körül pirosra festett lapszélettel. Az első táblákon aranyozott magyar koronával. Nagyon szép sorozat.
