The present painting of a winter stream by an unknown hand is stylistically assigned to Post-Impressionism (Camille Pissarro, Paul Cézanne, Henri Rousseau, Paul Gauguin, Vincent van Gogh, Henri Admond Cross, Georges Seurat, Paul Baum, René Schützenberger, Pau Signac, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Paul Sérusier, Henri Lebasque, Olga Bosnańska, Piere Bonnard, Ker-Xavier Roussel, Giovanni, Giacometti, Édouard Vuillard, Cuno Amiet, Fernand Piet, Maurice Denis, Georges Dufrénoy, Carl Schmitz-Pleis, Gabriele Münter, André Noufflard, Dietz Edzard, Karl Walther) and was created at the beginning of the 20th century.
