The still life was painted in the New Objectivity style. It features several abstracted vessels and plates with various fillings. The table lacks a form. Similar works of art were created by the following artists: Karl Hauk, Carry Hauser, Georg Philipp Wörlen, Maximilian Reinitz, Hans Joachim Breustedt, Georg Königstein, and Kurt Gröger.
