Szobotka Imre (1890 - 1961): 1905-1910 között a budapesti Iparművészeti Iskola növendéke volt, közben Velencében és Rómában járt tanulmányúton, majd Párizsba látogatott. 1911-ben Erdélybe ment, itt festett képeiből rendezte első önálló kiállítását. Párizsba visszatérve a La Palette festőiskolában Metzinger és Le Fauconnier mellett tanult. Munkái 1913-ban és 1914-ben szerepeltek a Salon des Indépendants tárlatán. A világháború kitörésekor Bretagne-ba internálták. Hazatérve számos kiállításon mutatta be képeit, a KUT egyik alapítója volt." - Forrás: kieselbach.hu."
