A lap alján Szabó Lőrinc így jellemzi Jaksic munkásságát: „Kiváló modern lírikus. A bánáti Srpskacsernyán született. Tanár, pap, könyvtáros volt, majd a világháború után miniszteri titkár lett. Belgrádban halt meg.";
