Beautiful original condition, wooden frame, picture .: 56 x 68 cm Total M .: 66 x 78 cm Ștefan Popescu ( 1872, Fințești, Năeni, Buzău, Romania - d. 1948, Bucharest, Romania) was a painter, draftsman, engraver, honorary member of Romanian Academy since 1936. He studied at the Academy of Arts in Munich and the Academy of Arts in Paris. [6] He is one of the reference engravers in Romanian art, his works representing a landmark in the development of easel graphics and engraving in Romania. [7] In France he is also known as Stefan Popesco from the time he was a student at the Academy of Arts in Paris.
