Korabeli, bordázott gerincű, restaurált, vaknyomásos bőrkötésben, címlapja restaurált (mely a szöveget is érinti), az első 26 lev. sarka restaurált (a 10. lev-től szöveget nem érint), az utolsó 15 lev. restaurált (az utolsó 2 lev-en szöveget is érint), lapjai helyenként foltosak. Rendkívül ritka! RMK II. 874. Szenczi Kertész Ábrahám (?-1667) nyomdász, a mesterséget valószínűleg az Elzevírek műhelyében tanulta. Az 1640-ben alapított váradi nyomda vezetője. Műgonddal készült, szép nyomású könyvei kiemelkedtek a kor magyarországi termékei közül. 1660-ban a város török kézre jutásakor Kolozsvárra, majd Nagyszebenbe menekítette nyomdáját. Legismertebb kiadványa a Váradi biblia.
