Gróf Sándor Móritz, az "ördöglovas" bravúrjairól különböző helyeken, több nyelven jelentek meg kiadványok. Ezek többnyire abban közösek, hogy udvari festőjének, ifjabb Johann Erdmann Gottlieb Prestel festményeinek reprodukcióit adják. A festő legtöbbször részese és elszenvedője is volt a megfestett kalandoknak." (Vuray).
