Podmaniczky Frigyes báró (1824-1907) „Budapest vőlegénye”
A szabadságharcban huszárkapitány és osztályparancsnok a Károlyi-huszároknál, mint kapitány végig küzdötte a szabadságharcot. Sokat tett Budapest fejlesztéséért is, az ő idejében készült el a főváros általános rendezési terve, ekkor épültek ki a körutak és a sugárutak. 1875-1885 a Nemzeti Színház intendánsa, ekkor a színház egyik fénykorát élte.
Későbbi, aranyozott gerincű egészvászon-kötésben. A 2-4 kötetek eredeti papírborítói is bekötve. Külön-külön is ritka, együtt fellelhetetlen. Egyetlen kiadás!
