A szerző (1740-98) jezsuita pap-tanár, majd 1784-től a természet- és gazdaságtan tanára volt. Az első mezőgazdasági tankönyvírók egyike, melyek megírása során Mitterpacher úttörő jelentőségű mezőgazdasági tankönyvét (Elementa rei rusticae) vette alapul, de sok esetben kiegészítette, illetve továbbfejlesztette azt. Bebizonyítja többek között, hogy a túl sűrűn vetett gabona arányaiban nem hoz nagyobb vetést.
Korabeli, keménytáblás, kopott papírkötésben. Címlapja és két levele piszkos.
