Szoblahói Palma Károly Ferenc (1735-87) történetíró, nagyprépost, kalocsai kanonok és címzetes püspök volt. E műve Pannonia római provinciáitól kezdve, a hunok, avarok és a vándorló magyarok történelmét ismerteti, leírja az Árpád-házi királyok és a vegyesházi királyok, majd a Habsburg-ház magyarországi uralmának történetét a saját koráig, azaz Mária Terézia uralkodásáig.
A három kötet egységes, korabeli, bordázott és aranyozott gerincű egészbőr-kötésben, címkékkel, pirosra festett lapszélekkel. Címlapokon korabeli poss. bejegyzés és pecsét. A könyvtestek szép állapotban, a gerincek erősen szúrágta, kis hiányokkal.
