Hozzá kötve: Guide to the environs of the City of New York. [New York, 1840. Tanner & Disturnell] 4-16 l. + 1 térkép (" Map of New York and its Vicinity Drawn by D. H. Burr") határszínezett acélmetszet, 29,7x33,3 cm. Ritka és korai útikönyv, főleg utcajegyzékkel segít tájékozódni a bevándorlóknak, érdekes figyelmeztetés nekik a kötet elejére kötött börtön-ábrázolás. A kötet elején kézírásos bejegyzés: "Édesapám adorjánházi Molnár Gábor m. vette 1844 őszén New Yorkban 50 centért. Molnár Elemér" Molnár Gábor (1818-?) okleveles mérnök, gőzhajózási kapitány és felügyelő 1845-ben a trieszti tengerészeti akadémiát végezte, mint kereskedelmi tengerész járt az Éjszak-amerikai Egyesült-Államokban. 1848–49-ben a Honvéd magyar hadi gőzös kapitánya volt. Egyideig a Balaton-gőzhajózási társulatnál is szolgált. (Szinnyei). A kötet első fele szerepelt a Swann Gallery árverésén (2512/262.) 2019-ben. A második résznek nem leltük nyomát közgyűjteményekben sem.
Vászon kötésben, ráragasztott cimkével. A könyvtest ép, az első térképen a szakszerűtlen nyitogatás kettő, a másodikon egy beszakadást okozott. A térképek tiszta lenyomatok."
