Márffy Ödön festőiskolájában tanult 1950-1954 között. Mesterei: Ilosvai Varga István, Gádor Emil, Tóth Menyhért. Budapesten él. A Budai Művészcsoport főtitkára 1990-1998 között. Dolgozott a tokaji és a telkibányai művésztelepen. Több hazai egyéni és csoportos tárlaton szerepelt. Egyéni kiállítása volt 1981-ben a Műcsarnokban. Az Országos Akvarell Biennálékon rendszeresen szerepel.
