Pochoir az art deco-ra jellemző, főleg Franciaországban elterjedt egyfajta stencil technika, melynek használatával egy akvarellhez megtévesztésig hasonló képet kapunk.

Korabeli, aranyozott, gerincén sérült félbőr kötésben, az eredeti, illusztrált papírborítók belekötve. A gerinc a hajtásnál mindkét oldalon felhasadt, a táblák szinte lejárnak, a gerinc a szerző és a cím közötti részen is elrepedve. Javítandó példány.
