Korabeli pergamenkötésben, német és latin nyelven, kissé foltos borítóval, az elülső kötéstábla belsején viaszpecséttel, a hátsó kötéstábla belsején és védőlapon bejegyzéssel, a címlapon intézményi bélyegzővel, 2-15 oldalak között a lapok sorrendjét felcserélték, de nem hiányos, de ezeket leszámítva jó állapotban.
Az ókori Herculaneum, amelyet a Vezúv Pompei-el együtt i. e. 79-ben elpusztított, feltárása nem sokkal korábban, 1738-ban kezdődött el. Már akkor felfokozott érdeklődés mutatkozott ezek iránt. Akkor ez a könyv ezt szolgálta kielégíteni. /
Contemporary parchment-binding, in German and Latin languages, with some spotty on the cover, with some writings on the inside of the back covers and the back shieldpage, with wax seal on the inside of the front cover, with office seal on the front page, the pages changed between 2 and 15, but the book is complete, in good condition.
The ancient city of Herculaneum excavation began in 1738. This book was made to describe the news of the excavation for the people who interested in it.
