A festőművész 1980-ban diplomázott a budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskolán, ahol mentora Sváby Lajos volt. A nyolcvanas években Derkovits-ösztöndíjat kapott. 1986-tól tanított a Képzőművészeti Főiskola festő szakán, 1980-ban megalapította a Pentaton Csoportot Szentendrén. A Stúdió Galériában, Szentendrén és Párizsban is volt már egyéni kiállítása. A Fiatal Képzőművészek Stúdiójának és a Pentaton csoport tárlatainak rendszeres szereplője. 2002-ben a szentendrei Vajda Lajos Stúdió jubileumi kiállításán is részt vett a Műcsarnokban, Szolnokon köztéri munkája is megtekinthető.
