Természet után metszette A(nthon) Zampis (a képben is szignált), Megjelent: Bécs, [1878?], C. Rellenstein. Képméret 350x550 mm, lapméret: 500x625 mm, színezett litográfia.
A rendkívül ritka metszet készültekor „még csak” 25 versenyt nyert Kincsem, ám az 1879-es visszavonulásáig 56 versenyen indult, és kivétel nélkül mindegyiken ő nyert.
Anton Thomas Josef Zampis (1820-1883) osztrák festő és litográfus. Karikaturistaként vált ismerté, azonban legkedveltebb témája a ló és lovaglás. Furcsa, hogy sem életművét kutatva, sem az ismert Kincsem ábrázolások között nem sikerült egzakt adatot találni a metszetről.
A metszet hibátlan, de egy szakértő restaurátor keze nyomán bizonyára élénkebb színekben csodálhatnánk a csodalovat.
