Sajnos elől a nagyméretű, kihajtható rézm. címkép (Mária Terézia mellképe) hiányzik! A 2. kötet 17. lapja tépett, sérült, de nem hiányos.
Kazy Ferenc (1695–1759) jezsuita történetíró Istvánffy Miklós Historiájának folytatásaként, Timon Sámuel kéziratainak felhasználásával írta meg Magyarország XVII. századi történetét. Példányunk az első 2 kötet, 1601-től 1663-ig tágyalva a magyar történelmet. Ebben az évben, ebben a kiadásban nem volt harmadik kötet. Vagy: A nagyszombati, 1749-es kiadással (279 l.), vagy a kassai, 1750-es kiadással (279 l.) lehetne pótolni a 3. kötetet.
