Kazy Ferenc (1695-1759) jezsuita történetíró Istvánffy Miklós Historiájának folytatásaként, Timon Sámuel kéziratainak felhasználásával írta meg Magyarország XVII. századi történetét.
Korabeli, aranyozott, bordázott gerincű egészbőr-kötésben, körül pirosra festett lapszélekkel, a gerinceken apró sérülésekkel, megkímélt, jó állapotban. A címlapokon névbeírás: Kacskovics Mihály (1833).
