Karinthy első vegyes témájú paródiakötete, néhány hónappal az „Így írtok ti” megjelenése után. A Görbe tükörben jelent meg először kötetben a méltán híres „Egy Ember, Akinek Abszolute Semmi Érzéke a Szimbolizmushoz” című darabja, a remekbe szabott és örökbecsű Verne-paródia mellett („A Csömöri-úttól a Filatori-gátig”). A magyar humor fontos állomása.
Korabeli, vörös félvászon kötésben, gerincén aranyozott fekete címvignettával, az eredeti színes, illusztrált, első borítófedél bekötve. Szép példány.
