The Hungarian painter and graphic artist Ilona Hranitzky studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest. Her teachers were Lajos Deák-Ébner, Oszkár Glatz, and János Vaszary. From 1913 her work was regularly exhibited in the exhibitions of the National Salon and the Art Gallery. She was a member of the women's group Nyolcak (The Eight), which existed from 1909 to 1919. In 1931, a retrospective of Hranitzky's works took place at the National Salon, Budapest. Further artists and styles: Béni Ferenczy, Endre Vadász, Tibor Hetényi, Tibor Gergely, Brigitta Videky, Maria Lazar, Zsigmond Cselényi Walleshausen, Geza Boross, Ibolya Csengery, Gitta Gyenes, Ferenc Erdély, Ilona Bereczky, Olga Székely-Kovács, Maria Barta, Alice Endresz, Jenö Szabados, Gyula Derkovits, Jozsef Rippl-Ronay, Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, Victor Vasarely und Vilmos Aba-Novak
