Ibolya Csengery was a Hunagrian painter. From 1921 until 1928, she studied at the College of Fine Arts in Budapest attending the classes of Gyula Rudnay and István Csók at the College of Fine Arts. In 1924, she participated in one of the debut exhibitions of the academy students. She was a regular exhibitor at the Műcsarnok and the National Salon. She is best known for her female portraits and nudes. In 2008, her painting “Ladies with Palette” was shown in the exhibition “Hungarian Women's Painting 1895-1950 - Saphier Collection” at the Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum, Budapest.
