Perhaps the most significant work of the most outstanding figure of Hungarian baroque poetry about the famous story of the capture of the Murány castle in 1644 by Ferenc Wesselényi. The work was first published in 1664, and its popularity is indicated by the several subsequent editions over the centuries.
