Posonii, et Cassoviae, 1788. Impensis Joannis Michaelis Landerer, perpetui in Füskut. 1 t. (címképmetszet, a szerző portréja, Tischler Antal rézmetszete), [102], 702, [14] p. 21 cm.
Korabeli,aranyozott, bordázott gerincű bőr kötésben, festett lapszélekkel, a képeken látható állapotban. A kötéstáblák lazábban illeszkednek, széleiken kis kopás, a gerincen kis hiány. Poss.: Fengler József (győri püspök), Tarnóc Márton.
A szerző váradi püspök, Báthori István kancellárja, a XVI. század egyik legjelentősebb humanista történetírója volt, a magyar Tacitusként is emlegették. Emlékirata az 1552 és 1572 közötti időszak alapvető forrása, a műfaj egyik legkiemelkedőbb darabja. Nyomtatásban ekkor jelent meg először, a neves piarista tudós, Horányi Elek gondozásában. Magyarul csak 1977-ben látott napvilágot.
