Harold Courtney Armstrong (1891-1943) brit történész és hajóskapitány történeti portréja Ibd Saud-ról, azaz Abdul-Aziz ibn Abdul-Rahmanról, Szaúd-Arábia királyáról annak korai sivatagi portyázásától az ország egyesítéséig és királyi címe elnyeréséig (1901-1932). A száműzött emíri családból származó Ibn Saud szabadcsapataival éveken keresztül a megszálló török hatalom, illetve a törökök által támogatott helyi arab hatalmasságok ellen harcolt. Gerillahadviselése az első világháború idején vált eredményesebbé, amikor komoly brit segítséget kapott. A megerősödött hadúr végül 1932-ben fejezte be országa egyesítését. A nyugati sajtóban rendkívül kedvezően értékelt hadúr és országalapító utódai kormányozzák az országot a mai napig. Oldalszámozáson belül néhány egész oldalas és szövegközti térképvázlattal, az előzékeken rajzzal kiegészített Arábia-térképpel. Feliratozott kiadói egészvászon kötésben. Jó példány.
