A londoni születésű Albert Henry Payne (1812-1902) a zseniális illusztrátor, festő és metsző 1839-től Lipcsében alkotott.
Korabeli aranyozott és vaknyomásos táblákkal díszített félbőr-kötésben. Sajnos a kötet első felének lapjait körbevágták, így csonkán mutat a kötésben. Kissé viseltes példány, jó metszetekkel.
