Szovjet kiadásunk emlékezetes adaléka Paul Vaillant-Couturier francia kommunista mozgalmár, FKP-alapító, Komszomol-munkatárs kiemelkedően leninista előszava, illetve a regény nóvumnak számító lapalji jegyzetapparátusa, amely a tudományos-fantasztikus regény megfelelően marxista olvasatát van hivatva biztosítani.
