Schmitth Miklós (1707–67) jezsuita történetíró a XVIII. század nagy magyar történészeinek jelentős tagja. Elsőként dolgozta fel a magyar nádorok kronológiai történetét. Ez a műve az esztergomi érsekek történetét mutatja be. Az első kötet kétszínnyomású címlappal.
Korabeli, dúsan aranyozott gerincű egészbőr-kötésben, festett lapszélekkel. A könyvtest hibátlan, a tábla, főként a hátsó, szúrágta.
