Turul stranded on the reef off Cape Planka, northwest of Sebenico on June 13, 1916. She was eventually freed by the tenders Pronta and Belrorie and the salvage ship S.M.S. Herkules, which towed her back to Pola on June 18 for repairs, completed on July 31. This postcard comes from the album of former k.u.k. sailor Willy Becker, who served on Austrian torpedo boats during the war.
