(egészoldalas és színes illusztrációk, részben fa- és linómetszet), [4]+140+[9] p.+183 t. (egészoldalas és színes illusztrációk, részben fa- és linómetszet). Az előzéklapon Végh Gusztáv tulajdonos szignója.
Az első kötet 8 magyar könyvművészt és alkotásait mutatja be 16 táblányi illusztrációval. A kötetben szereplő magyarok: Végh Gusztáv, Molnár C. Pál, Kozma Lajos, Reiter László, Kner Imre, Kolozsváry Sándor, Gróf József és Kner Erzsébet.
Míg az első kötet német, osztrák és közép európai művészeket mutat be, addig a 2. kötetben számos skandináv, angol és amerikai könyvművész művei szerepelnek.
Egységes, kiadói félvászon kötésben, a gerinceken nyomtatott címvignetta.
