A single release. Based on the title page, reference books and catalogues indicate 1757 as the year of publication, but the preface is dated 19 December 1764 (the Péter Bod bibliography compiled by Judit Nyerges in 2002 considers the two as separate editions). The question is settled by an entry in the author's autobiography dated 4 January 1765: "Harsányi János uram vitte el Szebenbe a Praxis Forihoz a titulust, praefatiót és gróf T[eleki] L[ászló] úrnak a levelét". Therefore, the year of publication can be considered 1765. In 1832, it was also published in Hungarian, titled “Megujjitott egyházi törvénykeztető” translated by László Benkő from Kisbacon.
