Borsos Miklós az úgynevezett pannon szellem", azaz a latinos régi magyar kultúra képviselője, művészete Illyés Gyula verseihez, Bernáth Aurél Balaton-sorozatához, Egry József panteisztikus periódusához hasonló művészetszemlélethez kapcsolódik. Műveiben a görög mitológia alakjai élednek újjá, szobrai Constantin Brâncuși formavilágának hazai megfelelője, rokona."
