Korábbi árverési példányokban a metszet másolatban pótolt. (György 220.) „Bertraid longobárd király uralmát megosztja testvérével, Gundoberttel. A trónra áhítozó Geribald azonban viszályt szít a testvérek között, másfelől a nagyravágyó Grimoald herceget a longobard birodalom ellen izgatja. Terve nem sikerül: Bertraidnak ugyan el kell menekülnie Grimoald elől, de ennek halála után a nép visszahozza régi uralkodóját.”
