Az 1900-ban megjelent, minden idők egyik legismertebb meseregényének legismertebb filmes adaptációjához készült kiadás. A filmből vett színes táblákkal illusztrált kiadás a Judy Garland főszereplésével készült amerikai mesefilm-musical készítésének évében jelent meg és a táblák - a különleges papírnak hála - a mai napig megőrizték a film eredeti színvilágát. Talán még érdemes megemlíteni, hogy a mesefilm az amerikai filmtörténet legkorábbi egész estés, színes technikájú filmjei közé tartozik (az első az ugyanebben az évben készült George Cukor: A nők c. filmje volt).
Modern vászonkötésben, az eredeti (szintén a filmből vett jelenetet ábrázoló) papírborító az első és hátsó kötéstáblára vonva, kissé körülvágva. Ép, tiszta oldalakkal.
