Pesten, 1813. Trattner. 2pl(s). (frontispiece and engraved title page)+XLVIII+136p. First edition.
Publishing colligate. Benedek Virág sent Kazinczy the manuscript poems of his dead friend, Dayka, in 1802 (during his imprisonment in Kufstein). After that, he collected additional pieces through an advertisement published in Magyar Kurir and through personal correspondence. The book's exciting feature is that in addition to the nearly fifty-page preface, the portrait of Dayka on the title page is also attributed to Kazinczy.
20th-century half leather. Spine gilt. Original cover bound inside.
