Az első világháború végén felnövő nemzedék dilemmáit megfogalmazó regény angol fordítása megnyerte a londoni Chapman & Hall és a new york-i William Morrow kiadók az évi közös regénypályázatát, nem utolsósorban aktuális témaválasztása és a külföldi olvasó számára egzotikusnak ható budapesti kerethelyszíne miatt. A regényt több nyelvre lefordították, példányunk az angliai kiadásból származik. A tartalomjegyzék verzóján régi tulajdonosi bejegyzés. Aranyozott gerincű kiadói félvászon kötésben, enyhén sérült kiadói védőborítóban. Jó példány.
