Kees (1774-1840) II. József császár jogi tanácsadója volt. 40 ezer tárgyból álló műszaki gyűjteménye képezte a bécsi Műszaki Múzeum alapját. Számos találmányt jegyeztek a neve mellé, többek között a fém esztergát is. A Gyárak és kereskedelem az osztrák császárságban a legismertebb munkája. Előzéklapon: „Kisújszállás városáé 1823.”
Korabeli, egységes, dúsan aranyozott félbőr-kötésben, piros és zöld címkékkel, piros lapélekkel. Egyik gerince picit hiányos, a kötéstáblák kissé kopottak, a lapok épek, szépek.
Ritka mű, külföldi árveréseken sem gyakori.
