A francia oratoriánus szerző szentírás-tudományi munkája először 1678-ban jelent meg. Számos kiadást megélt, több nyelvre lefordították. A rézmetszeteken többek közt, Jeruzsálem alaprajza, a jeruzsálemi templom látképe, valamint zsidó alakok láthatók rituális öltözetben. Ez a mű harmadik magyarországi kiadása.
Korabeli bordázott, aranyozott bőrkötésben, festett lapszélekkel, megkímélt példány. A címlapon régi tulajdonosi névbejegyzés.
