Thomas a Kempis (Thomas Haemerken) (Kempen, 1379 vagy 1380 – Zwolle, Agnietenbergi kolostor, 1471.), késő középkori holland bibliamásoló, latin nyelven író teológus, keresztény misztikus, egyházi író, az Ágostonos kanonokrend szerzetese, a devotio moderna (modern jámborság) legismertebb alakja.
Előzéklapján „Báthori Gábor 1837” névbejegyzése. (Báthory Gábor /Solt, 1755. – Nagykőrös, 1842./ református lelkész, a Dunamelléki református egyházkerület püspöke 1814-től haláláig.) Lásd még 42. tételünket.
